New Cascadia was the 12th state in the Angel's Republic. Its capital is in the pre-war town of Redding. The state was once part of another country called Cascadia, until the Angel's Republic took the area over. The land was administered by the states of Cisco and Maverick until these new northern counties declared their independence and formed a new state. This is the only successful secession to occur in the country, as their status as a separate state was recognized by the Angel's Republic federal government. It was also one of the five states to secede during the Californian Civil War.
